Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil preferred) to support surveying and engineering projects across the UAE. You will manage cost estimation, budgeting, and technical coordination with clients and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 6–7 years of project engineering experience in surveying/geospatial, expertise with 3D Laser Scanning, LiDAR, GPR, and Topographic Surveys, and a UAE driving license. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–7 years of proven project engineering experience in surveying/geospatial.
• Demonstrated experience in cost estimation and budgeting.
• Strong background in surveying equipment and technologies.
• Experience in pre-qualification processes and dealing with clients and consultants.
• Proven ability in client acquisition and business development.
• Hands-on knowledge of 3D Laser Scanning, LiDAR, GPR, Spatial Analysis, and Topographic Surveys.
• Valid UAE Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Excellent communication in English, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related industrial required standard tools/software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets for survey-related engineering works.
• Assist in preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for pre-qualification, tendering, and project development stages.
• Lead site assessments and evaluations for survey deployment readiness.
• Supervise deployment and operation of survey equipment, ensuring data accuracy.
• Manage client acquisition activities, develop relationships, and represent the company in meetings and presentations.
• Coordinate internally with technical teams to ensure estimates reflect practical execution requirements.
• Provide support in spatial data analysis, planning, and resource estimation for LiDAR, GPR, and 3D scanning projects.
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of survey technologies, methods, and tools.
