Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) to support surveying and engineering projects across the UAE. You will handle cost estimates, budgets, and client interfaces, with expertise in 3D Laser Scanning, LiDAR, GPR, spatial analysis, and topographic surveys.

The role requires 6–7 years of project engineering experience, a Civil (preferred) or Mechanical degree, and a UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–7 years of proven project engineering experience.
• Experience in cost estimation and budgeting.
• Hands-on knowledge of 3D laser scanning, LiDAR, GPR, and topographic surveys.
• Valid UAE driver's license and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and project budgets for survey works.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors through pre-qualification and tenders.
• Lead site assessments for survey deployment.
• Supervise deployment and operation of survey equipment.
• Support client acquisition and business development.
• Coordinate with technical teams to reflect execution requirements.
• Provide spatial data analysis and planning for LiDAR, GPR, and 3D scanning.
• Track project progress against timelines and budgets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of survey technologies.
