Job summary

Emarat Aloula Contracting is seeking a Procurement Engineer Civil to manage procurement for civil materials, subcontract works, and services for infrastructure and utilities projects in the UAE. The role collaborates with Engineering, Projects, Commercial and Site teams to ensure timely, cost-efficient procurement that meets specifications, quality standards and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Additional training in Procurement, Supply Chain, Estimation, or Quantity Surveying is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–7 years of UAE experience in Procurement Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs and RFPs.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications and material requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project Teams to ensure supplier compliance.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms and warranties.
• Prepare and process POs, LOIs and LOAs.
• Monitor procurement progress and address delays or shortages.
• Coordinate with Warehouse regarding receipt inspection and quality of procured materials.
