Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a Material Engineer – Civil to oversee material selection, quality control, and testing procedures across its Dubai portfolio. You will ensure concrete, steel, finishing materials, and civil components meet project specs, municipality standards, and design requirements while supporting cost-optimization and sustainability goals.

The role requires extensive experience in material specifications and testing, with a focus on Dubai residential and high-rise projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of field experience in material engineering with contracting or engineering consultancy firms.
• Experience on Dubai residential and high-rise tower projects preferred.
• Expertise in civil material specifications, testing protocols, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA, sampling, and lab testing for civil construction materials.
• Review and approve material submittals and technical data sheets.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality codes and international standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Procurement, and Project Engineering to evaluate cost-effective and sustainable materials.
• Conduct site inspections and supplier audits for material quality and storage conditions.
• Maintain documentation of material approval logs, test reports, NCRs, and third-party certifications.
