Role Context

This position supports the reliability and condition of civil facilities serving plant operations, including administrative buildings, residential accommodation, and associated infrastructure. The Civil Maintenance Supervisor coordinates scheduled and corrective maintenance, reviews drawings, conducts facility inspections, monitors contractor performance, and ensures repair and modification activities are completed safely and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review civil maintenance work orders and determine appropriate execution priorities.


• Develop preventive maintenance schedules covering civil works within plant premises.


• Supervise routine and corrective civil maintenance activities.


• Ensure administrative and residential facilities are maintained in safe and serviceable condition.


• Monitor maintenance execution against approved schedules and requirements.


• Review drawings relating to existing facilities and proposed installations.


• Verify that proposed civil works and modifications meet operational and maintenance requirements.


• Conduct periodic inspections of accommodation units and associated facilities.


• Identify deterioration, defects, and maintenance requirements during facility inspections.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience supervising civil maintenance activities within a large industrial organization is required, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Candidates should have practical experience in building maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, facility inspections, civil repairs, contractor supervision, materials management, and corrective maintenance.
