Job summary

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector in Dubai, UAE. The role involves performing complex inspection tasks across civil/infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards on site.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering, with 5+ years of construction supervision experience and the ability to read drawings and prepare detailed inspection reports within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficient in preparing site inspection reports, daily reports, and maintaining systematic records.
• Ability to work in a site-based, fast-paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary supervision team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day civil and infrastructure works on site to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and quality/safety requirements.
• Check materials and workmanship meet required standards and project specs.
• Carry out routine and hold-point inspections for civil/infrastructure activities.
• Review and witness field and laboratory tests and verify results meet specs.
• Verify approved ITPs, method statements, and checklists are followed by the Contractor.
• Prepare and maintain inspection requests, site inspection reports, daily records, and NCRs.
• Maintain systematic records of progress, inspections, tests, and site communications.
