Job Overview: The Civil Inspector - Roads and Utilities role in Dubai, UAE is responsible for monitoring infrastructure construction activities and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. The role supports project quality by inspecting roadworks, utilities and site development to meet approved specifications and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections across construction sites to ensure adherence to drawings, codes and specifications
• Monitor roadworks including curbs, pavements, sidewalks and landscaping elements
• Inspect drainage systems, utility installations, traffic control setups and lighting infrastructure
• Supervise installation of electrical systems linked to traffic signals and roadway operations
• Oversee irrigation, planting and site development activities across assigned areas
• Ensure proper installation and removal of signage, markings and delineation systems
• Monitor construction of associated facilities and infrastructure components within project scope
• Capture daily site progress through photographs and maintain organised documentation records
• Identify non‑compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and engineers
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and support project documentation requirements
