Job summary

Shuraa is hiring on behalf of a client operating in the contracting interior design and construction industry. The client is looking for an experienced and presentable Civil Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams. Shuraa is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (DM approved with G+1 license) for interior design and construction projects in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in interiors, fit-out, renovation or construction.
• Dubai Municipality (DM) approved engineer with a valid G+1 license.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction practices, site execution and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise interior fit-out, renovation and construction projects from execution through completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor site progress, quality of work, materials and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings, technical documents and project requirements and coordinate with relevant teams for execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works are completed according to required standards, timelines and specifications.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues, delays and coordination challenges.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and relevant site records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, health and safety requirements and applicable authority regulations.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities when required and ensure necessary approvals are in place.
• Support project planning, scheduling and cost control to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
