Jamal Al Sherouq Contracting LLC seeks a qualified Civil Engineer to support and supervise civil construction activities in Abu Dhabi. You will interpret drawings, take site measurements, prepare BOQ and quotations, and ensure work adheres to project requirements.

You will coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and clients, maintain reports and documentation, and help ensure timely, quality completion of all assigned tasks.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience in site measurements and quantity calculations.
• Capable of preparing BOQ and quantity take-offs.
• Familiar with civil construction methods and site activities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and understanding CAD drawings.
• Strong documentation skills for reports and records.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and supervising civil construction activities, preparing and checking measurements and quantities, interpreting engineering drawings, and coordinating site activities to ensure work is completed according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and interpret civil engineering drawings, structural drawings, and construction details.
• Take and verify site measurements and prepare measurement sheets.
• Calculate quantities of materials and work items based on drawings and site measurements.
• Prepare BOQ, quantity take-offs, material requirements, and estimates.
• Check drawings, dimensions, levels, and specifications before and during execution.
• Monitor and supervise daily civil construction and site activities.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, workers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, progress reports, measurement records, and site documentation.
• Assist in preparing quotations, variations, and additional work measurements when required.
• Monitor material usage and coordinate material requirements with the site team.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the concerned person.
• Ensure proper quality and timely completion of assigned works.Perform other engineering and site-related duties as required.

Skills
