Job summary

Stantec in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman to prepare accurate engineering drawings for water infrastructure projects, including sewerage, drainage, irrigation, and roads. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

The role requires strong drafting skills, UAE experience, and a proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, while maintaining drawing standards and documentation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman, with 3–5 years in the UAE.
• Experience with an engineering consultancy is mandatory.
• Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD (latest versions).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Produce drawings for sewerage, stormwater, drainage, irrigation, and road infrastructure projects.
• Update drawings based on engineers’ comments and project requirements.
• Prepare as-built drawings from site survey data and construction records.
• Review and interpret existing utility and infrastructure records.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders for accuracy and timely delivery.
