Job summary

HR Groups in Dubai seeks a skilled Civil Draftsman cum Document Controller to produce civil structural shop drawings and detailed Bar Bending Schedules (BBS). You will manage project drawing registers and document workflow, coordinating with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting Certification and at least 4 years of drafting experience with AutoCAD, RebarCAD (bonus), and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or drafting certification required.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on drafting experience in civil construction.
• Proven expertise in Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and structural reinforcement detailing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil structural standard shop drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare complete Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for structural elements (footings, columns, beams, slabs) per project specs.
• Manage Document Control operations, archive registers and workflow using EDMS.
• Maintain Master Drawing Logs and coordinate updates between site engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
