Job summary

Careers International in Dubai seeks a Storekeeper to manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing construction materials, tools, and equipment. You will maintain accurate inventory records and support on-site teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; training in inventory management is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in civil contracting or construction environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control and management: maintain detailed inventory of materials, tools, and equipment; conduct regular stock checks; organize items for efficient retrieval.
• Receiving and inspection: receive deliveries, inspect quality/quantity, verify against POs, report discrepancies.
• Issuing and tracking supplies: issue materials to site personnel, track usage, manage returns and damage checks.
• Warehouse organization and maintenance: keep clean, safe storage; handle hazardous materials safely.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain records of inventory transactions; prepare regular reports; assist audits.
• Procurement support: monitor levels and place orders to prevent stockouts; liaise with suppliers; coordinate with project managers.
