Mirage in Abu Dhabi is seeking a civil/architectural site inspector to ensure works on assigned construction sites comply with approved drawings, specs and quality standards. You will support the site supervision team throughout construction.

The role requires a diploma or degree in civil engineering or related field, 5–7 years of inspection experience, and solid knowledge of construction methods, materials and finishes. UAE experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience in civil or architectural inspection on construction sites.
• Good knowledge of civil and architectural construction methods, materials and finishes.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and material submittals.
• UAE experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect civil and architectural works for compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Review contractor method statements and material submittals for civil and architectural works
• Witness testing of materials and works
• Identify and record non-conformances, following up on corrective actions with the contractor
• Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists and photographic documentation
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and design team on technical queries
• Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety requirements
