Job summary

BLR WORLD in Dubai is seeking a Visitor Services Senior for Al Shindagha Museum to guide visitors and ensure high-quality service across shifts. You will coordinate school trips, oversee guides and reception staff, and work with event teams to deliver engaging programs while maintaining safety and visitor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of history/heritage context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that fee data matches amounts received and deliver daily revenue and financial reports.
• Coordinate with schools and universities to organize educational programs and trips.
• Conduct field visits to schools to promote collections and museum content.
• Coordinate reservations for school and tourist groups per events schedule.
• Coordinate with Events Department to organize guided tours for museum events.
• Supervise speaking guide devices and arrange maintenance as needed.
• Provide innovative ideas to attract more visitors to the museum.
• Coordinate visits with tourism agencies for tourist groups.
• Prepare reports on effectiveness of educational programs and trips.
• Coordinate with exhibitions/collections for updated displays information.
• Assist in receiving delegations and provide exhibit information.
• Coordinate with museum departments on exhibitions and activities.
• Supervise staff during shifts and ensure weekly schedules are followed.
• Oversee training for guides and reception staff to adapt to developments.
• Provide daily reports on events and visitor numbers to supervisor.
• Ensure safety and personal belongings protection for visitors.
• Guide visitors to museum sections and share necessary information.
• Respond to visitor inquiries accurately and promptly.
• Address visitor observations and complaints efficiently and document outcomes.
• Ensure security policies are followed.
