This is an opportunity to join myZoi asa Chief Technology Officer. The role will be based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Business

• Working withthe CEO, CPO, Product Owners, and partners to lead technology build,evaluate technology trade-offs, oversee vendor engineering engagements,and deliver features and capabilities aligned to the business model tobuild on the minimum viable product (MVP) to successful global rollout.
  
• The ChiefTechnology Officer will discuss with partners, fintechs, co-creationclients, and business to expand the Company’s product offering andgeographical footprint.
  
• Co-ordinate,question and interrogate technology opportunities with engineering teamand innovate to sustain a competitive advantage.
  
• Employ amanagerial mindset that seeks to optimise business outcomes for theCompany while establishing sound governance, internal processes, adherenceto policies and standards. This role requires close coordination with theSC Ventures CTO.
  
• Thoughtleadership and demonstratable subject matter expertise on use of machinelearning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, APIs, cybersecurity, DevSecOps and similar technology applications.
  
• Establish asound technology operation covering incident management, problemmanagement, service levels (SLAs) and business continuity processes

TechnicalSkills

• Expertknowledge of mainstream cloud provider (AWS), Cloud-native services, andelastic infrastructure.
  
• Expertbackground in .NET technology stack, distributed systems, authenticationmechanisms, asynchronous event processing, message queues, andarchitecture patterns.
  
• Knowledgeableon modern object orientated programming practises including entityframeworks, dynamic reflection, and reusable interfaces.
  
• Familiaritywith 3rd party system integrations via APIs (HTTP/REST), host-to-host(file exchange by FTP), with background jobs processing of real-time,event triggered, and async automations.
  
• Familiar withOWASP, secure by design, secure coding practises, code scanning, unittesting, dependency management (deprecation, vulnerabilities, licensing)
  
• Extensiveexperience with DevOps including pipeline, release management, multi AWSaccount deployments.
  
• Requiredexperience in front-end AngularJS, and good to have familiarity withmodular frameworks such as ASP.NET Boilerplate, ASPNetZero, ABP.IO
  
• Overseeingscrum teams, engineers, and ensuring reliable delivery of sprints, changemanagement of features and bug fixes, and backlog
  
• Experience withoperating highly-available production financial systems
  
• Familiaritywith SQL databases, DNS, service discovery, and related infrastructurecomponents
  
• Ability to wearmultiple hats such as individual contributor, team lead, solutionarchitect, facilitator.
  
• Beneficial isknowledge of FinTech ecosystem, inclusive of Blockchain, Digital Payments,Primer Services and Transaction Banking Enhancements, as well as otherinnovations in this space.

• Have expertiseand professional experience in software development and deep understandingof technology delivery.
  
• Participate inassessing and hiring technical personnel and support the growth inaggressive go-to-market plans.
  
• Familiaritywith ERP and financial systems (purchase orders, invoices, receipts) isdesirable.
  
• Participatewith anchor and banks / financial service providers in establishing newintegrations.
  
• Engage withrelevant Standard Chartered Functions including Technology and Informationand Cyber Security (ICS) for governance and key-control-indicators.
  
• Advantageous tohave experience in ITIL and ISO27001
