Job summary

ClearGrid is seeking its first dedicated risk and compliance leader to own the compliance framework across our full product suite: Command, Allocate, and Securitize.

This role will set policies, build controls, and serve as the single point of accountability for regulatory and contractual obligations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You will report to the CEO and partner with Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations as the function scales, acting as MLRO and DPO as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in risk and compliance within financial services, fintech, lending, or debt collection with regulatory exposure in UAE/KSA.
• Fluent English; professional Arabic strongly preferred.
• Experience leading client due diligence, external audits, and regulator correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain the policies, standards, and control sets for all three product lines.
• Track regulatory obligations across UAE and KSA; own licensing and registration obligations and regulator responses.
• Lead compliance due diligence with banks, lenders, and funding partners; manage evidence packs and contractual obligations.
• Set collections conduct standards and fair treatment principles; own complaint handling and monitoring of customer communications.
