Job summary

ClearGrid Debt Collection LLC is seeking a risk and compliance leader to own the UAE and KSA regulatory framework across its product suite. You will set policies, build controls, and be the single point of accountability for compliance.

Initially the sole owner, you will hire and shape the team as the function scales and act as MLRO and DPO. You will collaborate with CEO, Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations, and oversee licensing, due diligence, and consumer protection across

Qualifications

• 6+ years in risk and compliance within financial services, fintech, lending, or debt collection.
• Working knowledge of UAE and KSA regulatory requirements and licensing.
• Experience writing policies, building risk registers, and running control testing from scratch.
• Experience leading client due diligence, audits, and regulator correspondence.
• Fluent English; professional Arabic strongly preferred.
• Hands-on owner mentality across strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain policies, standards, and control sets for all product lines.
• Track UAE and KSA regulatory requirements, licensing, and registrations.
• Lead due diligence with banks, lenders, and funding partners; manage audit responses.
• Set collections conduct standards and complaint handling across channels.
• Oversee data protection compliance with UAE/KSA laws and DPAs.
• Own AML, CFT, and sanctions obligations related to servicing and funding flows.
• Build and run the operational risk register and testing calendar.
• Support Securitize with governance, reporting, and covenant monitoring.
• Govern AI/automated decisioning controls and human oversight requirements.
• Train teams to embed compliance into daily work and act as escalation point.
