Job summary

Lorum in Dubai seeks an experienced MLRO to own money-laundering escalations, SARs, policies and governance for our DFSA-regulated entity.

You will collaborate with Compliance Operations and leadership across Hong Kong, Switzerland, Singapore and the US to implement a unified risk framework.

This hybrid role requires 4 days in our Dubai office and offers strong regulatory exposure and growth in a fintech- and banking-focused group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior compliance, including MLRO experience.
• Direct DFSA or UAE Central Bank interaction experience.
• Strong AML/CTF, sanctions and SAR decision-making.
• Desire to shape compliance across Lorum’s regulated entities.

Responsibilities

• Be the DFSA go-to for money-laundering escalations and SARs.
• Develop and govern AML/CTF, sanctions policies and training in Dubai.
• Maintain regulatory reporting and liaison with local and group committees.
• Lead a group workstream and collaborate with Compliance Operations and leadership.
