Job summary

IFFCO is seeking a senior professional to provide optimum insurance and risk management across the Group. The role develops cost-effective transfer/retention strategies and ensures timely claims settlement, driving risk awareness and mitigation across business units.

The candidate will lead a team, oversee insurers and surveyors, and stay abreast of industry developments while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Management or equivalent.
• Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management or related certification.
• Fellowship of Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance and Risk Management support to IFFCO Group companies after proper understanding and analysis of applicable risks.
• Evaluate innovative and cost-effective solutions and stay updated on industry trends.
• Develop/define a cost-effective risk transfer/retention strategy covering all operating units.
• Provide leadership and operational support to BUs for timely claims registration and management.
• Build relationships with insurers, intermediaries and surveyors.
• Promote risk awareness and mitigation in BUs through surveys, seminars and guidance notes.
• Build an effective, efficient and motivated team.
