Job summary

Jaheziya seeks a seasoned Chief Fire Officer to lead fire and emergency response services, ensuring 24/7 readiness and effective incident command across high-hazard environments in Abu Dhabi. You will drive risk-based planning, safety standards, and performance improvement while coordinating with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, NFPA-aligned qualifications, and a track record in complex incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of fire and emergency service experience.
• 8+ years in fire-service leadership and senior command.
• Experience in high-hazard environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, port, aviation).
• Proven complex incident command and multi-agency responses.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent senior command experience.
• Fire Officer III or higher per NFPA standards.
• Advanced ICS and HazMat incident command qualifications.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent QHSE qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership of fire and emergency response services.
• Maintain 24/7 operational readiness and emergency response capability.
• Provide senior incident command for major and complex emergencies.
• Lead workforce planning, competency, training, and professional development.
• Oversee fire appliances, equipment, PPE, and operational resources.
• Ensure effective emergency response and pre-incident planning.
• Maintain QHSE, regulatory, and operational compliance.
• Manage service performance, KPIs, risks, and continuous improvement.
• Build effective relationships with clients, authorities, and emergency-service stakeholders.
