Confidential in the United Arab Emirates seeks a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to guide financial strategy, governance, and risk across the organization. The role partners with the CEO and board to optimize capital structure, drive financial planning, and ensure robust reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a senior finance track record in capital-intensive sectors, with professional certification and fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience in energy, natural gas, utilities or capital-intensive industries.
• Professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CMA/CFA/CA is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the CEO and executive team.
• Develop and manage capital structure, leading debt, equity, and project financing negotiations.
• Oversee treasury strategy, liquidity management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Ensure IFRS, UAE tax, VAT compliance, and statutory regulations.
• Lead enterprise risk management to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Evaluate investments, acquisitions, and capital projects using financial models.
