Job summary

UMO in Dubai seeks a senior finance executive to own the global finance function as part of a stealth-fintech platform evolving money across fiat, crypto, and investments. You will lead banking operations, treasury, FP&A, and regulatory reporting with direct impact on company strategy and governance.

The role requires a strong CFO/finance track record in regulated fintechs, CPA/CFA/ACCA credentials, advanced English, and experience across multiple entities and regulators.

UMO is a stealth-mode FinTech venture aiming to evolve the way people experience money by building a unified, AI-powered, yet deeply human modern money platform across fiat, crypto, and investments — subject to regulatory approvals. The platform is being designed to break down traditional barriers to money across access, assets, and experience, enabling simpler, more adaptive ways for people to interact with financial services.

We are currently developing our MVP and navigating licensing requirements, with a multidisciplinary team of 100+ people representing 20+ nationalities. About this role

As a part of our team, you'll help us shape a platform that works for One — a business owner, an artist, a freelancer. We focus on individuals, and we don't confuse growth with treating people like numbers, always staying simple and human. In this role, you will take ultimate ownership of building, structuring, and scaling our entire global finance organization from the ground up, making our financial operations personal, thoughtful, and reliable with absolutely no noise or clutter. You will have the direct opportunity to impact the company's direction, operate with full strategic autonomy, and lead our accounting, treasury, pricing, and planning tracks alongside a diverse executive team.

You'll take ownership of

• Banking Finance & Operations: Oversee core banking financial mechanics, managing complex financial flows, capital structures, and multi — currency accounting systems unique to retail digital banking and electronic money frameworks.
• Multi — Asset Treasury & Global Liquidity: Design and execute a sophisticated treasury strategy encompassing both traditional fiat systems and cryptocurrency networks. Coordinate multi — asset liquidity buffers, working capital optimization, and global cross — border cash management.
• International Entity & Jurisdictional Management: Manage financial structures across a complex group network, supervising tax compliance, corporate accounting, and bookkeeping models across multiple foreign jurisdictions and entities.
• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Direct ongoing communication, reporting, and licensing strategies with global financial regulators, ensuring absolute compliance with cross — border frameworks.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead long — term planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles. Build multi — scenario financial models to safeguard unit economics, track profitability cost drivers, and present performance metrics directly to the CEO and Board.
• Team Leadership & Financial Governance: Scale and mentor a distributed, high — performing finance division. Establish a documentation — first and control — oriented culture that balances rigorous risk management with rapid business enablement.

About you

• Banking Finance Expertise: You bring deep, mandatory expertise in banking finance, retail digital banking infrastructures, and electronic money institution financial operations.
• Multi — Asset Treasury Mastery: You have extensive, practical experience managing dual — track treasury architectures, feeling equally at home handling complex fiat liquidity networks and cryptocurrency custody, settlement, and exchange operations.
• International Group Architecture: You have a proven track record operating within international companies. This includes managing multiple legal entities, supervising international consolidation, and navigating accounting and corporate tax rules across several distinct global jurisdictions.
• Direct Regulatory Communication: You possess mandatory experience in active, direct communication with financial regulators (e.g., CBUAE, VARA, or EU equivalents), managing reporting obligations, compliance requirements, and audit schedules.
• Executive Financial Seniority: You have a proven track record as a CFO, VP, or senior financial executive within a highly regulated fintech ecosystem, with experience building financial structures and systems from scratch.
• Credentials & Languages: You hold an advanced finance or accounting qualification (CPA, CFA, CMA, or ACCA) and speak professional — level English. Proficiency in Ukrainian is an asset for internal communication.
