Job summary

LHH Middle East has been retained by a leading multinational to appoint a Chief Executive Officer with full commercial and operational responsibility across the GCC markets.

The role calls for a leader who can set commercial strategy, expand into new markets, and hold the organisation to the numbers, within a Group governance structure reporting into Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years at CxO/MD/GM/CM level with direct ownership of commercial growth.
• Full P&L ownership with control of financial flows and performance metrics.
• Sector background in building materials or adjacent industrial fields.
• Proven track record managing commercial operations across GCC markets.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams at scale.
• Record translating strategy into measurable execution.
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building with strategic customers and partners.
• Experience in a Group governance structure with transparent reporting to Headquarters.
• Familiarity with Group reporting standards across accounting, taxation and ESG.
• Exposure to digital transformation and rollout of software/tools.

The role carries complete P&L ownership, leads the local management team, and operates within a Group governance structure reporting into Headquarters. It calls for a leader who can set commercial strategy, expand into new markets, and hold the organisation to the numbers.

Requirements

• Minimum ten years at Chief Executive, Managing Director, General Manager or Country Manager level, with direct ownership of commercial growth
• Full P&L ownership, with command of financial flows and the metrics that drive performance
• Sector background in building materials or adjacent industrial fields.
• Substantial track record developing and managing commercial operations across the GCC markets
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams at scale
• A record of translating strategy into measurable execution
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building capability with strategic customers, business partners, institutional stakeholders and key industry players, including government-linked entities
• Experience operating within a Group structure, with the discipline to maintain structured governance and transparent reporting to Headquarters on strategy, results and challenges alike
• Familiarity with Group reporting standards across accounting, taxation, management control and ESG
• Exposure to digital transformation and the rollout of software and management tools
