Job summary

Our client, a leading UAE-based contractor, is seeking a Chief Estimator (Airport Civil Infrastructure) to head the estimating and pre-contracts function in Dubai. The role involves steering tender strategy, pricing, cost control and risk management for major airport projects.

Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering or QS background, 12+ years of estimating experience and at least 2 years in team leadership, with extensive airport project exposure.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
• Minimum 12 years estimating experience in the construction industry.
• At least 2 years managing a team of estimators.
• Large airport infrastructure project experience.

As a consequence of recent project awards they have an immediate need to permanently appoint a Chief Estimator (Airport Civil Infrastructure) in Dubai.

The appointed person will lead the company's estimating and pre-contracts function for major airport civil infrastructure opportunities, providing strategic direction on tendering, pricing, cost management and commercial risk. The Chief Estimator is responsible for ensuring the company submits commercially competitive, accurate and strategically aligned bids while supporting business growth and profitability.

The minimum requirements are:

• Tertiary education in civil engineering or quantity surveying
• Minimum 12 years estimating experience in the construction industry
• At least 2 years managing a team of estimators
• Large airport infrastructure project experience
