A leading maritime company in Dubai is seeking a Chief Engineer to head the Engine Department. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and engineering systems aboard a tanker. Candidates should have prior experience as a Chief or First Engineer on tankers, valid engineering certifications, and familiarity with tanker machinery. This position offers an opportunity to lead essential operations in a dynamic marine environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sea service as Chief Engineer or First Engineer on tankers.
• Experience with tanker machinery and cargo-related systems.
• Familiarity with dry-docking and major repairs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Head of the Engine Department responsible for safe and efficient operation of all machinery.
• Direct report to the Master onboard the tanker.
• Maintenance of all engineering systems.
