Job summary

Tormac Marine in Dubai seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Engine Department on our tanker. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and engineering systems, reporting directly to the Master.

Candidates should have sea service as Chief Engineer or First Engineer on tankers, tanker machinery experience, and STCW certs plus a Tanker Endorsement. Familiarity with dry-docking and major repairs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Chief Engineer Unlimited CoC.
• Tanker Endorsement where applicable.
• STCW certification up to date; Seaman's Book and Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Head of the Engine Department responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and engineering systems.
• Reports directly to the Master.
• Oversees maintenance planning and major repairs on board.
