Job summary

Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) invites a visionary Chancellor to provide strategic and institutional leadership for SEA and Sharjah Government Nurseries (SGN). The role focuses on advancing academic excellence, professional development, research, and early childhood education, working with the President, Board of Trustees, and senior leaders to strengthen outcomes and sustainability.

Qualifications

PhD or EdD in Education or related field from a recognised university.
Minimum 15 years of senior leadership experience in higher education or a complex education organisation.
Experience engaging with governing boards, government stakeholders, accreditation bodies, and national or international partners.

Responsibilities

Lead the institutional strategy for SEA and SGN, setting clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Champion excellence in academic provision, professional learning, and research for continuous improvement.
Provide strategic oversight of SGN, ensuring high-quality early childhood education and safeguarding.
Promote student success, educator capability, and children's development and wellbeing across the institutions.
Oversee financial sustainability and revenue diversification through programmes, partnerships, and consultancy.
Collaborate with the President and Board to ensure governance, risk oversight and accountability.
Build strategic government, academic, and community partnerships and represent SEA/SGN internationally.
Lead and develop the senior leadership team, fostering a collaborative culture and Emirati talent development.
