Job summary

Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) and Sharjah Government Nurseries (SGN) seek a Chancellor to provide strategic and institutional leadership. You will drive academic excellence, credibility, and financial sustainability, allied with the President and Board of Trustees.

Your role includes safeguarding, inclusion, and stakeholder engagement at national and international levels. You will lead the senior team, strengthen Emirati talent, and champion continuous improvement across SEA and SGN, shaping

Qualifications

PhD or EdD in Education, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Minimum of 15 years of senior leadership experience in higher education or complex education organisations.
Experience engaging with boards, government stakeholders, accreditation bodies and partners.

Responsibilities

Lead institutional strategy for SEA and SGN with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Champion excellence in academic provision, professional learning, and research.
Provide strategic oversight of SGN including early childhood education, safeguarding and inclusion.
Promote student success, educator capability, and children’s wellbeing across activities.
Oversee financial sustainability and revenue diversification through programmes and partnerships.
Govern with oversight of governance, compliance, risk, and accountability.
Build government, academic, and community partnerships nationally and internationally.
Develop the senior leadership team and foster a culture of innovation and Emirati talent.
