Job summary

Sundus is seeking a qualified senior accountant to manage core accounting functions in a UAE-based environment. You will oversee posting entries, supplier invoices, and ERP workflows, while ensuring IFRS compliance and VAT regulations.

The role requires collaboration with auditors and participation in budgeting and forecasting processes. The candidate should have 5–8 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a senior role, and hold a relevant degree with professional qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA/CA preferred.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a senior role.
• Hands-on ERP experience with SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Review, verify, and post accounting entries and supplier invoices in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors and ensure timely audit closure.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
