Job summary

Metasearch Recruitment Services in the UAE seeks a Chemist for Dry Mix & Construction Chemicals. The role will lead the development of tile adhesives, tile grouts, renders and mortars, plus epoxy systems and waterproofing products, balancing performance with cost efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

You will conduct raw material testing, colour matching, and product benchmarking, perform site testing, and provide technical support to customers and consultants, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 4–5 years experience in dry-mix and construction chemicals.
• Good English communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for testing and support.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and formulations based on customer and market requirements, including tile adhesives, tile grouts, renders, plasterers, masonry and repair mortars, screeds, self-levelling flooring compounds, epoxy systems and waterproofing products.
• Develop cost-effective formulations while ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
• Evaluate and test raw materials to improve product performance, quality and cost efficiency.
• Conduct competitor product benchmarking and comparative product evaluations.
• Perform colour matching for tile grouts and epoxy systems.
• Conduct site visits, product testing and pull-off tests.
• Provide technical support to customers and consultants.
• Troubleshoot product complaints, conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective solutions.

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for technical support and testing.
