Job summary

EFS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Chemist for a leading beverages company in the UAE. The role focuses on monitoring quality management, safety, and regulatory compliance, and documenting QA testing as per company standards.

Key duties include ensuring 100% satisfaction in taste, appearance, and various process quality metrics, conducting internal audits, implementing CAPs, and maintaining QMS/FSMS/HACCP/EMS/OHSAS certifications without non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology or Chemical Engineering.
• 2–5 years’ experience in beverages, water, dairy, fruit juice or pharmaceutical plants.
• Knowledge of QA testing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Comply with internal governance and quality management system, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, company policies, laboratory safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, pollution control standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements while performing testing, analysis, and related laboratory activities.
• Maintaining Taste, Appearance Satisfaction at 100%
• Maintaining Brix and GV Satisfaction at 100%
• Maintain micro-Satisfaction at 100%
• Maintaining date code Satisfaction at 100%
• Maintaining closure function Satisfaction at 100%
• Maintaining Net Content Satisfaction at 100%
• MQI- 100 (YTD)
• Maintaining Brix & GV Cpk ≥ 1.33 for all run and all flavour by using Carbo QC
• Maintaining Net Content Cpk ≥ 1.33 for all run and all flavour
• Maintaining R T Cpk ≥ 1.33 for all run and all flavour
• Maintaining PET wall thickness Cpk ≥ 1.33 for all run and all flavour by using stress crack analyser
• Conducting 2 successful Internal Audits
• Preparation and Implementation of CAP’s
• Sustenance of QMS, FSMS, HACCP, EMS and OHSAS certifications without any minor non-conformance.
• Derive and implementation of CAPs after RCA for the non-confirming product and complete within the time frame.
• 100 % segregation and isolation of the non-confirming product
• 100% Adherence to Company policy, procedures and Kore requirements
• Follow GMP, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and prevent contamination of products, ingredients, packaging materials, and equipment.
• Use approved materials, tools, and ensure all work does not compromise product quality or food safety.
• Report any condition that may impact product quality, food safety, or GMP compliance.

Role Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology and Chemical Engineering
• 2 – 5 years’ experience in the beverages, water, dairy, fruit juice or pharmaceutical plants
