Job summary

Mai Dubai is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional with 5+ years in the beverage or bottled water industry. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, safety and compliance across water treatment, bottling, and laboratory operations.

You will conduct sampling, testing, and analyses, maintain records, support audits and CAPA processes, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to uphold GMP, GHP and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Quality Control/QA experience in FMCG, beverage or bottled water.
• Mandatory UAE/GCC bottled water/beverage industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in a high-volume water bottling plant.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000 and SOPs.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and quality parameters.
• Hands-on laboratory testing, sampling procedures and chemical/physical analysis.
• Understanding of CCPs, NCRs, CAPA, root-cause analysis and audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily QC activities across water treatment, production lines, online checks, and laboratory operations per SOPs.
• Execute sampling and testing of raw water, treated water, process samples, finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Perform chemical and physical analysis and monitor critical quality parameters across water treatment and bottling processes.
• Conduct routine inspections covering GMP, GHP, hygiene, housekeeping, and CCPs.
• Monitor food safety prerequisite programs, including cleaning, sanitation, pest control, and personal hygiene.
• Inspect incoming raw and packaging materials and report quality deviations.
• Identify non-conformities and implement CAPA, NCRs, and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate QC, laboratory, HACCP, ISO, inspection, and testing records.
• Support internal/external audits, customer complaints, market returns, and product quality investigations.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure quality and food safety compliance.
• Monitor quality trends, elevate recurring issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate laboratory equipment and automated Water Treatment Plant systems safely and effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience within the FMCG, beverage, or bottled water industry.

• Mandatory experience in the bottled water or beverage industry within the UAE or GCC.

• Strong hands‑on experience in a high-volume water bottling or beverage manufacturing plant.

• Candidates without UAE/GCC water or beverage industry experience will not be considered.
  Strong knowledge of quality control systems within a bottled water/beverage manufacturing environment.

• Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, food safety systems, SOPs, and prerequisite programs.

• Knowledge of water treatment processes and quality parameters.

• Hands‑on knowledge of laboratory testing, sampling procedures, and chemical/physical analysis.

• Understanding of CCPs, quality specifications, NCRs, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and audit requirements.
