Job summary

Trychem is seeking an External Account Manager to join our chemical raw materials sales team in Jafza, Dubai. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of experience in chemical raw materials for construction and a strong chemical engineering background.

You will drive growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business opportunities with clients and suppliers in paints, coatings, adhesives, and construction chemicals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry is required.
• 3–4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials (paints, coatings, adhesives) with UAE/GCC track record.
• Strong knowledge of resins, solvents, additives, pigments used in coatings and construction chemicals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
• Willingness to travel within UAE.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth in coatings and construction chemicals market.
• Realize sales targets for assigned customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with customers, manufacturers, and end-users.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations and formulation coordination.
• Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with R&D and supply chain to align sales efforts with business objectives.
• Prepare sales forecasts and presentations for senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and QSHE standards.
