Job summary

Unity Star Import and Export FZE LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The role focuses on managing an assigned section, preparing high-quality dishes, and upholding food safety and presentation standards.

The ideal candidate has professional kitchen experience, strong culinary skills, and excellent time management. UAE hospitality experience is preferred; visa and medical insurance are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Culinary arts qualification, professional cookery certificate, or hospitality training preferred.
• Food safety and hygiene training is an advantage.
• Practical kitchen experience may be considered alongside formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the daily operation of an assigned kitchen section.
• Organize and supervise food preparation activities within the section.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and dishes according to approved recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation meet company standards.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely service.
• Monitor section readiness before service begins.
• Maintain mise en place throughout the shift.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and established standards.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh and suitable for use.
• Check food quality, taste, temperature, and consistency before service.
• Accommodate approved dietary requirements and special requests.
• Assist with menu trials and new dish preparation when required.
