Job summary

JobLeader in Abu Dhabi is seeking a talented Chef de Cuisine for our luxury restaurant. You will oversee kitchen operations, develop menus, and mentor a team to deliver exceptional Malayalee-inspired dishes in a fine dining setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in fine dining, strong leadership and communication, and a passion for culinary excellence. Fluency in English is not strictly required if Malayalam communication is strong.

Chef de Cuisine

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at our luxury restaurant in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and passionate chef to showcase their creativity and culinary expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the kitchen operations, create and develop menus, manage food quality and consistency, and train and supervise kitchen staff.
• Sourcing and selecting ingredients, maintaining food cost control, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Chef de Cuisine in a fine dining restaurant, preferably with experience in Malayalee cuisine.
• Strong understanding of flavor profiles and techniques used in Malayalee cooking.
• Ability to lead a team, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
• Excellent organizational skills to ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations.
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask effectively, and have a keen eye for detail.
• Full-time position.
• Valid work permits or residency visas in Abu Dhabi (preferred for immediate start).

Salary and Benefits

• Full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Note: Fluency in English is not required for this position as long as the candidate has strong communication skills in Malayalam.
