Job summary

Dubai Automotive Manufacturer is seeking a Manager – Chassis Assembly to lead daily chassis assembly operations in its Dubai facility. You will oversee production targets, ensure quality, safety and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement with lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

The role requires strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, quality, maintenance, procurement, and supply chain teams to optimize performance and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or vehicle assembly operations.
• 3–5 years in supervisory or managerial position within a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification will be an advantage.
• Experience with chassis manufacturing or automotive assembly projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily chassis assembly operations to achieve production schedules and targets.
• Ensure assembly activities comply with engineering specs, quality requirements, safety procedures, and standards.
• Monitor KPIs (cycle time, productivity, defect rates, downtime, equipment efficiency) and drive improvements.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead continuous improvement via Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma and related practices.
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, warehouse, and production planning for materials availability.
• Develop assembly teams and provide training on procedures, quality, safety, and best practices.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of assembly equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Prepare production performance reports and KPI dashboards for senior management.
• Support new processes, equipment, technologies, and engineering changes.
