Job summary

NAFFCO is seeking a proactive Chassis In-Process & Testing Engineer for our Dubai manufacturing team. You will oversee in-process inspections, plan tests, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous quality improvements on chassis assemblies.

The role requires hands-on testing, measuring with calibrated tools, and close collaboration with Design, Quality and Production teams to ensure conformance with design and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years’ experience in chassis or mechanical assembly inspection, testing or quality roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute in-process inspection and testing activities for chassis assemblies during manufacture to verify conformance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Create, maintain and improve test plans, inspection checklists, work instructions and test data recording formats for auditable quality control.
• Perform functional, dimensional and electrical tests (where applicable) including static/dynamic checks, load tests, alignment verification.
• Operate and calibrate test equipment, jigs and fixtures; identify needs for new tooling and support procurement.
• Monitor production processes, conduct first article inspections and sampling; contain non-conforming product.
• Investigate failures using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions with teams.
