Job summary

DESERT FACE TRADING LLC is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage audit engagements, ensure compliance, and oversee audit teams in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have significant audit experience in the UAE, exceptional client relationship skills, and expertise in local regulations.

Responsibilities include planning and executing audits, mentoring teams, reviewing financial statements, and maintaining compliance with tax laws. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance along with professional qualifications is required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Experience managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead and manage audit engagements, oversee audit teams, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international auditing standards. The ideal candidate will have significant audit experience in Dubai/UAE, strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements, and a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor audit teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Review financial statements and audit working papers in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
• Assess internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, including corporate tax and VAT regulations.
• Review and finalize audit reports and management letters.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Support business development and client acquisition initiatives.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE laws, accounting standards, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIA.
• 5-10 years of audit experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a managerial role within an audit or accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  • UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
  • UAE VAT regulations.
  • UAE Commercial Companies Law.
• Experience managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
