Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. in Dubai is seeking a proactive Certified Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing and trading teams.

The role covers full accounting cycle, month-end, financial statements, and IFRS/GAAP compliance. You will manage GL, AP/AR, cash flow, budgeting, and liaise with auditors, with a focus on process improvement and accurate reporting. Candidate should have UAE accounting experience and be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Certified Senior Accountant with UAE accounting experience.
• Proficient in IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle from ledgers to close.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Forecast, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate audit and ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance.

We're Hiring: Senior Accountant

We are looking for a proactive Certified Senior Accountant to join our growing team based in DMMC, JLT.

Key Responsibilities

• Certified Senior Accountant with extensive experience managing the full accounting cycle.
• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Management of general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
• Execution of month-end and year-end closing processes.
• COGS calculation, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Financial reporting and management reporting.
• Audit preparation and coordination with external auditors.
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other ERP/accounting systems.
• Cash flow management and financial planning.
• Process improvement and optimization of accounting procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

Certified Senior Accountant with extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, and trading environments. UAE Accounting experience.
