Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee clerks and supply staff, coordinating with workshop managers and ensuring compliance with directives. The role includes organizing daily activities, monitoring supply transactions, and delivering timely spares to workshops from a central store.

The candidate will prepare weekly compliance reports, maintain SAP data accuracy, and drive continuous improvement while safeguarding stock and facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing warehouse staff and ensuring compliance with directives.
• Ability to monitor and report on performance metrics.
• Good data entry skills with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to Clerk(s), Supply Lead(s), and Technicians providing managerial guidance.
• Act as interface between Manager, Operations and Distribution and workshop managers.
• Organise and prioritise daily work activities in the assigned store.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with all warehouse directives within the workshops.
• Monitor and control all supply transactions and meet performance metrics.
• Prepare weekly written report of workshop store activities and compliance.
• Ensure timely delivery of spares and SAP data entry accuracy.
• Coordinate with customer service for bi-weekly reconciliations in workshops.
• Identify trends in material supply levels and preempt potential issues.
• Assist in inventories and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage timesheets for supply employees in workshops.
• Schedule leaves and vacations to maintain continuous warehouse operations.
• Monitor and order workshop stores equipment and IT/safety needs.
• Promote continuous improvement and update policies and procedures.
• Maintain security awareness of stock vulnerabilities.
