Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a Cement Trader to bolster its Dry Freight Product team in Dubai. The role focuses on expanding cement-related trading activities and building durable supplier and customer relationships across LATAM and/or Africa.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in cement trading, a proven negotiation track record, and deep knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory environments in Latin America and/or Africa. A transferable book of business is highly valued.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cement / clinker /fly Ash / Gypsum or cementitious products trading.
• Proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship-building in the cement industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the regional market dynamics, regulatory environment, and trade practices in Latin America and/or Africa.
• Bring a valuable and transferable book of business that underscores a history of successful client relationships and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Promotion and expansion of trading operations, with a primary focus on cement-related products, including clinker, cement, gypsum, slag, fly ash etc.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with cement suppliers and customers across LATAM and/or Africa.
• Conduct thorough and continuous analysis of cement market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing strategies specific to LATAM and/or Africa.
• Lead negotiations for cement procurement and sales. Work diligently to secure favourable terms and conditions while navigating regional complexities, regulations, and cultural nuances.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with trading activities in these regions.
