Job summary

Valleysoft is seeking a CDP / SAP Emarsys Data Engineer to shape customer data capabilities across CDP, integration points, and downstream systems. You will enable reliable data flows, improve data usability, and support teams that depend on accurate customer information.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, maintaining data quality, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to support segmentation, analytics, and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, customer data, or data integration.
• Hands-on experience with CDP and/or SAP Emarsys.
• Strong SQL skills with ETL and data transformation experience.
• Experience with APIs, data integration, data modeling, and customer data structures.
• Solid understanding of data quality and data governance.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain customer data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Develop and support integrations between source systems, CDP, SAP Emarsys, and downstream platforms.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Work with customer data models and data structures.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and performance.
• Support customer segmentation and marketing data requirements.
• Support campaign and customer analytics requirements.
• Troubleshoot data integration and data quality issues.
• Analyze data-related incidents and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Collaborate with functional, marketing, integration, and technical teams.
• Support testing, deployment, and production activities.
