Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Central Control Room Operator (CCRO) - CEMENT INDUSTRY located in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The CCRO will be responsible for overseeing the plant operations from the central control room and continually monitoring processes to ensure equipment is working optimally, adjust machine settings as necessary and maintain and repair equipment when required. The CCRO will work closely with other teams and report to the production supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• At least 6 years of experience as a CCR, with experience in operating large modern cement plants
• Excellent knowledge of cement production and plant processes
• Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, including Kiln, VRM, Ball Mills, HPGR, and Coal Mills
• Sound knowledge of process and production optimization, energy conservation, and cost reduction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
