Job summary
Wynn Al Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Surveillance team. You will monitor POS and gaming data, build models, and develop BI dashboards to flag high-risk transactions across casino and F&B channels.
The role requires strong SQL, Python or R skills, ML libraries, and data visualization knowledge with experience in gaming or hospitality analytics. Office-based role with competitive benefits in AED.
Qualifications
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with ML libraries and data visualization tools.
- Degree in data science, statistics, mathematics or related field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time and historical data for anomalies and fraud indicators.
- Develop statistical models and dashboards to flag high-risk transactions.
- Prepare reports and visualizations for leadership and regulators.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and operations to improve data sets and tools.
- Stay updated on fraud schemes and analytics industry best practices.
- Train surveillance staff to recognize suspicious activities.
- Respond to queries on events and run ad hoc POS analyses.
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
