Job summary

CITRA Jewels is seeking a customer-focused retail associate in Dubai to assist clients on the shop floor. You will greet customers, understand requirements, and recommend jewellery pieces while explaining pricing, offers, and store policies.

You’ll handle billing, operate the POS system, and ensure accurate transactions. The role requires standing for long shifts, maintaining grooming standards, and supporting inventory and display tasks.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in retail, sales, customer service, cashiering, or a similar position.
• Experience handling a POS system is required.
• Good spoken English and confident communication with customers.
• Friendly personality with interpersonal and selling skills.
• Well-groomed, presentable and maintains personal hygiene.
• Honest, responsible, punctual and disciplined.
• Willing to learn about jewellery products and improve sales skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods on the retail floor.
• Willing to work long retail shifts (approx. 12 hours) per company schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.

• Keep sales counter, cashier area, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Maintain high standards of grooming and professional appearance.
• Support stock checks and inventory-related activities as required.
• Handle jewellery items with care and ensure proper accountability and return after viewing.
• Follow all company procedures relating to sales, cash handling, customer service, security, and store operations.
• Work with store manager and team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

• Support stock checking and inventory-related activities when required.

• Handle jewelry items with care and ensure that all items taken from the glass display are properly accounted for and returned to their original place and condition after customer viewing.

• Follow all company procedures relating to sales, cash handling, customer service, security, and store operations.

• Work closely with the store manager and other team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 0-1 year of experience in retail, sales, customer service, cashiering, or a similar position.

• Previous experience handling a cash register or POS system is required.

• Good spoken English and the ability to communicate confidently with customers.

• Friendly personality with good interpersonal and selling skills.

• Well-groomed, presentable, and committed to maintaining proper personal hygiene.

• Honest, responsible, punctual, and disciplined.

• Willing to learn about jewellery products and improve sales skills.

• Comfortable standing and working on the retail floor for extended periods.

• Must be comfortable working long retail shifts of approximately 12 hours, subject to the company's working schedule and applicable labour requirements.

• One weekly day off, according to the company roster.

• Must be comfortable working late retail timings.

• Candidates currently living near Al Rigga / Deira or willing to relocate closer to the workplace are preferred.

• Candidates who can conveniently manage late-night transportation are particularly suitable for the role.
