Accor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a meticulous Cashier to manage daily cash collections, deposits, and disbursements within our luxury hotel operations. You will verify and record payments, prepare cash reports for the Finance Department, and maintain accurate cash balances.

The role requires 2–3 years in cash handling or accounting, preferably in hospitality. Strong numerical accuracy and knowledge of hotel accounting systems are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA qualification (at least Part I) or equivalent accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a cash-handling or accounting role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of cash handling, reconciliation, banking, petty cash, and financial controls.

Aufgaben

• Manage daily cash collections, deposits and disbursements.
• Receive, verify and record cash and other payment transactions accurately.
• Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Finance Department.
• Perform daily cash counts and reconcile physical cash balances with accounting records.
• Prepare bank deposits and ensure timely submission of funds.
• Maintain petty cash and process approved petty cash payments.
• Verify supporting documents for cash payments and reimbursements.
• Monitor cash balances and report discrepancies or irregularities.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and other departments regarding cash transactions.
• Assist with audits by providing required cash records and documentation.
