Job summary

Accor’s Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Cashier to manage daily cash collections, deposits, and reconciliations within a luxury hospitality setting. The role requires a diploma/certificate in accounting and 2–3 years of cash handling or accounting experience.

Proficiency in Excel and hotel accounting systems is advantageous. You will collaborate with Finance, Front Office, F&B, and other teams, and may work weekends and public holidays to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA qualification (at least Part I) or equivalent accounting qualification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash collections, deposits, and disbursements.
• Receive, verify, and record cash and other payment transactions accurately.
• Prepare daily cash reports and submit to Finance.
• Perform daily cash counts and reconcile balances with accounting records.
• Prepare bank deposits and ensure timely submission of funds.
• Maintain petty cash and process approved petty cash payments.
• Verify supporting documents for cash payments and reimbursements.
• Prepare cash payment vouchers and ensure proper approvals.
• Monitor cash balances and report discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of cash transactions and supporting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other departments regarding cash transactions.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits with cash records and documentation.
