Job summary

Royal Jet invites applications for a Captain role on 737NG. The candidate must hold FAA/JAA/GCAA licenses, ATPL with a valid 737NG type rating, and meet experience benchmarks including 5,000 total hours and 2,500 hours on multi-jet aircraft. VIP flight experience is preferred.

UAE regulations knowledge is essential. The successful pilot will ensure safe flight operations, comprehensive preflight checks, and strict adherence to procedures while maintaining high professional standards and customer

Qualifications

• FAA/JAA/GCAA licenses required.
• ATPL and valid type rating on Aircraft Type 737 (NG).
• 5000 hours total flying time mandatory.
• 2500 hours in a multi-jet engine aircraft mandatory.
• 1000 hours (Minimum command on Type or equivalent as PIC) mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed a culture of customer focus and performance management to ensure high quality and continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Responsible for the safe operation of the airplane and safety of its occupants and cargo flight time.
• Ensure that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
• Check operational procedures and checklists are complied with in accordance with the Operations Manual.
• Ensure that the weather forecast and reports for the proposed operating area and flight duration indicate that the flight may be conducted without infringing company operating minimal.
• Make sure that the airplane and any required equipment is serviceable and that relevant emergency equipment is serviceable and ready for use.
• Follow up that the airplane mass and balance is within the calculated limits for the operating conditions.
• Ensure that before takeoff and before landing the flight and cabin crew are properly secured in their allocated seats.
• Ensure that the preflight inspection has been carried out.
• Confirm that the relevant documents and Manuals are carried and will remain valid throughout the flight or series of flights and be produced when requested to a person authorized by the Authority.
• Ensure that both crew members and passengers observe the restrictions on smoking. In addition ensure that no person smokes in cargo compartment and/or other areas where cargo is carried which is not stored in flame resistant containers or covered by flame resistant canvas.
• To maintain a positive appropriate and professional relationship with all Royal Jet staff and the stakeholders.
