Job summary

Lux Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain for the Global 8000 to join our Flight Operations division based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a valid ATPL with a current Type Rating for Global 8000 and at least 4,000 total flight hours, including 2,000 jet hours.

In this role, you will ensure the aircraft's compliance with all regulations, maintain aircraft documentation, and provide a safe and professional environment for passengers and crew. Strong communication and CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2,000 jet hours and 2,000 multi-engine hours required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with passengers regarding aircraft defects and operational issues.

ExecuJet Middle East is currently seeking a Captain for the Global 8000 to fill a vacancy within our Flight Operations division based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Qualifications

• ATPL with current Type Rating for Global 8000.
• Minimum 4,000 total flight hours, including 2,000 jet hours and 2,000 multi‑engine hours.
• Experience operating flights in conflict‑affected and high‑risk airspace environments.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages advantageous.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with passengers or aircraft owners regarding any aircraft defect or operational issue that may affect the schedule.
• Responsible for the aircraft in accordance with EJME OM and applicable company Operating Manuals, SOPs and civil aviation regulations.
• Ensure the aircraft is operated in compliance with EJME regulations and SOPs.
• Review and maintain aircraft paperwork and verify airworthiness before each departure.
• Create a safe and professional environment on board with emphasis on effective crew resource management (CRM).
• Verify passenger travel documents and enforce compliance with FA instructions.
• If operating with an ISP, ensure that all briefings and cabin security checks are conducted by the Captain or the assigned co‑pilot.
• Brief passengers on journey time, en‑route weather, potential delays, and other pertinent information.
• Ensure crew presentation and conduct reflect positively on ExecuJet Middle East.
• Report any abnormalities, events, incidents or accidents via the correct channels.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures.
