Job summary

Khadamat Facilities Management LLC is seeking a senior CAFM Manager to bridge facilities operations with digital platforms. You will own the CAFM/IWMS strategy, governance, data management, and BI delivery across the enterprise in Abu Dhabi.

Lead system integrations, stakeholder engagement, change management, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring reliable IT service delivery, dashboard reporting, and actionable insights for executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

Job description

This role is positioned as a senior functional and technical lead responsible for bridging facilities operations, business processes, and technology systems, ensuring that facilities data and digital platforms drive measurable operational and strategic value.

To oversee the CAFM Facilities Technology Strategy & Governance, Business Process Management, Data Management & Database Governance, Reporting & Business Intelligence, System Integration & Architecture, Stakeholder & Client Engagement, Project Management & Change Management & User Enablement.

CAFM Manager is responsible for oversee day-to-day operations, coordinating infrastructure and system support activities, and assisting in the execution of digital transformation initiatives. The role ensures reliable IT service delivery, leads technical teams, and supports strategic planning and project execution under the direction of the IT & Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager.

Role Description
  • Define and maintain the facilities technology roadmap.
  • Establish governance frameworks for CAFM and related systems.
  • Ensure alignment between facilities operations and digital transformation objectives.
Business Process Management
  • Lead end-to-end analysis of facilities business processes (maintenance, asset management, space management, work orders).
  • Design and optimize workflows using best practices and system capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical system solutions.
CAFM / IWMS Systems Management
  • Own configuration, administration, and optimization of CAFM/IWMS platforms.
  • Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure system reliability, usability, and scalability.
Data Management & Database Governance
  • Ensure integrity, consistency, and governance of facilities master data.
  • Manage data structures related to assets, locations, work orders, and maintenance history.
  • Apply SQL and data validation techniques for troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports.
  • Support executive reporting with actionable insights.
  • Utilize BI tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent) for data visualization and analytics.
  • Oversee integration of CAFM systems with ERP, HR, BMS, IoT, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Support API-based integrations and middleware solutions.
  • Ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
  • Lead workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.
  • Act as primary interface between business users, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Present system solutions and performance insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and support contracts.
  • Oversee system implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Change Management & User Enablement
  • Drive user adoption across facilities teams.
  • Develop training materials and documentation.
  • Support organizational change related to system/process improvements.
Digital Transformation Support
  • Support the planning and execution of digital transformation initiatives and technology enhancements.
  • Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and preparing business cases for adoption.
  • Coordinate integration of new digital tools, applications, and automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams on process improvements and innovation strategies.
Team Development
  • Provide coaching, knowledge sharing, and skills development for IT staff.
  • Support performance review inputs and competency assessment of team members.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the IT & Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager.
  • Support emergency and after-hours response for critical incidents when required.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required to support department and organizational needs.
Team & User Support
  • Provide technical guidance to junior staff and act as escalation point for complex cases.
  • Assist in creating training materials and conduct training for end users or internal teams.
  • Ensure departmental readiness for disaster recovery and emergency responses.
HSE Job Responsibilities
  • To comply with the organization’s QHSE policies and procedures at all times.
  • To work safely at all times and to report all hazards and incidents to Departmental Supervisors/Managers.
  • To actively participate in all QHSE training, programs, audits and inspections when required and, as necessary.

  • To lead by example and ensure to protect the environment by conservation of electricity, water and other natural resources, and minimizing generation of waste.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in CAFM/IWMS, enterprise systems, or facilities technology roles.
  • Respond to customer’s service-related issues promptly.
  • Undertake testing and document results for systems and equipment.
  • Accurately and quickly diagnose and remedy faults and problems, troubleshoot electronic systems and equipment and repair electronic components where appropriate.
  • A full working knowledge of CAFM Management and support.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain complex databases.
  • Ability to work and implement team roster plan and attend to work in case of emergencies and disaster cases.
  • Train and instruct the customer on the proper use of the equipment.
  • Understanding of system integrations and database structures.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management, IT Service Management, or Change Management.
